Consider the possibilities...
Do you know how special you are? Too
many times in life your own sense of self worth can take a beating.
How can I say that? Because I've had those moments too. I am
here to tell you that they are survivable and you can in fact thrive but you
have to believe in yourself.
I want to share with you some ideas and
suggestions that will give you a whole new attitude and direction. I
want to remind you that the possibilities are truly up to you. No
matter how you feel, no matter what others might tell you, there is hope.
You can bear up under anything. It's a matter of believing.
You name the group and I have probably been
there sharing. From Chambers of Commerce to civic clubs, colleges,
churches and major corporations, there are folks out there just like you who
need to be reminded of just how special they are.
Please come in and explore my website.
Look around and sample some of the things that are here. If you have
any questions, please contact me. My mailing address is 1113 Ben Hope
Drive - Leesburg, Florida 34788. You're more than welcome to call me
at 352-343-5448. There's also an email link down below. Let me
know how I can help. Sometimes, the first step to a whole new life is
simply reaching out for someone who will listen and care.
The single most important thing in helping

is to create mutual trust, openness,
authenticity, and helping -
creating a HUMAN environment. - Malcolm

What's Been On My Schedule
|

One of my great blessings in life is being a grandmother. What
a joy it was to fly to Scotland May 7 through 18 and be with Michael and
Peni. It was her 40th birthday and granddaughter Olivia got my
full attention while Dad and Mom celebrated. Son Michael has
written a screenplay called "Senior Moments" that just happens to
include some of his dear Mom's escapades and therefore lots of humor.
Another blessing from the trip was to present a program for one of my
favorite Rotary Clubs in the world at Queensferry. They have
always provided a warm welcome each time I have visited.
I've welcomed daughter Cindy from Pittsburgh with her darlings
Christopher, Claire and Benjamin for a visit in my new home.
Daughter Trinidad also came down from Brooklyn with her sweet one year
old Isaac. |
April 3, 2009 found me working with 330 staff members and
friends of the First National Bank of Mt. Dora in Florida.
Executive Assistant, Jane Brown shared, "Carol has a real and very rare
gift; she is genuine, funny, warm, inspiring and delivers a wonderful
message that stays with you long after the event. It was an honor
to work with such a special person." It was a
wonderful day and a grand luncheon with lots of laughter and joy.
Those who came have already suggested looking at a return engagement for
next year.
On July 17, Disney's Coronado Springs Resort
will be the site for a presentation before TOPS (Take Off Pounds
Sensibly). This is their International Recognition Days
Convention. Some 2,000 attendees are expected.
September 12 will find me in Houston, Texas
meeting with the American Association of Medical Assistants. They
have asked for two talks from me. One will be on "The Gifts
of Creativity" and the other will be "Adventures in Attitude."
Look for me in Las Vegas October 22-24.
I'm planning on being a part of the AARP Life After 50 Convention.
